About the role
The Specialty Pharmacy Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) provides full integrated support to patients, pharmacists, and clinic staff by delivering a complete continuum of specialty medication services. PCCs are results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high-quality patient care and service. This position requires a high level of detail orientation and strong administrative and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide integrated support to patients, pharmacists, and clinic staff throughout the specialty medication process.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED plus one year of post-high school education or related work experience.
- Pharmacy Technician National Certification through PTCB or NHA (required).
- Vermont Board of Pharmacy Technician License (required).
- Maintain Pharmacy Technician Registration/License with the State of Vermont Board of Pharmacy and National Certification in good standing.
Qualifications
- One year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician or equivalent (required).
- Three to five years of experience (preferred).
- Specialty pharmacy or pre-certification experience (strongly encouraged).
