About the role
The role is responsible for managing the pharmacy operations and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy including inventory management and staff scheduling.
- Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations regarding pharmaceuticals and patient care.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure a steady supply of medications.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and quality control.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a pharmacy management role.
- Knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Qualifications
- Current license to practice pharmacy.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
