About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse – Specialty Office provides general nursing care to patients, families, and caregivers within a medical practice.

Responsibilities

• Gathering patient data and measurements
• Recording and reporting findings
• Preparing patients for exams and assisting providers with procedures
• Supporting self-care and care plans
• Maintaining equipment and a safe environment
• Participating in quality improvement and continuing education
• Communicating effectively with the healthcare team
• Responding to patient requests

Qualifications

• Graduation from a practical nursing program
• Current NYS licensure as an LPN
• BLS certification within six weeks of hire
