About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse – Specialty Office provides general nursing care within Medical Group practices, supporting patient-centered care and collaborating with healthcare providers and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document patient measurements and data.
• Assist with examinations, treatments, and procedures for specialty providers.
• Support self-care and management plans under the guidance of licensed providers.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and a safe environment.
• Participate in quality improvement, continuing education, and team communication.
• Respond to patient requests and relay information to healthcare providers.
• Perform supportive care tasks within the scope of practice.

Requirements

• Candidates must undergo background verification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a practical nursing program.
• Current New York State licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six weeks of hire.
