Specialty Line Associate 1st Shift

Kaytee (Central Garden & Pet) is seeking a Line Associate for the 1st shift in Chilton, WI. This role involves packaging and palletizing products for birds, hamsters, rabbits, and other small animals in a clean, fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Package and palletize product according to company specifications
• Assist operator with packaging of product; check for quality seals and proper code date placement
• Assist operator with changeover procedures
• Maintain work area in a clean and orderly fashion
• Understand and support the goals and objectives of the department
• Comply with all safety rules and company policies
• Report any Food Safety issues to authorized personnel for correction
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• High school diploma preferred
• Ability to bend, twist, turn, and climb
• Ability to lift/handle up to 2–30 lbs. frequently and 31–60 lbs. moderately
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently in a safe, efficient, and accurate manner
• Solid organizational skills

Working Conditions

• Manufacturing/warehouse environment with variable temperatures
• 1st shift: 6 AM to 2 PM, Monday–Friday
• Average of at least 40 hours per week, with potential overtime
