The posted compensation range of $39.58 - $70.98 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Responsibilities
- Develops, implements, and evaluates a program of education for their specialty (Med Surg).
- Coordinates orientation with facility departments in specialty area.
- Ongoing staff competency.
- Continued education at the unit and/or facility level as identified by needs assessments, audits, data informed decision making, and regulatory requirement initiatives.
- Applies policies, procedures, standards, and regulations as appropriate to their populations.
- Works closely with the Clinical Specialist to align with annual specialty education initiatives, specialty orientation, and other region initiatives.
- Might be required to deploy to sites based on initiatives or programs as needed.
Requirements
- Three years of experience in nursing is required.
- Two years of experience in the designated specialty (Med Surg) is required.
- A degree in nursing (BSN or MSN) is required.
- Masters Degree preferred.
- Current RN License to practice in state of employment as applicable, required.
- Nursing Specialty Certification required: Sit within 6 months; achieve within 1 year of hire or transfer to the role.
