About the Role

Elizabeth Andrews High School is seeking an ELA Academic Coach who utilizes best practices to increase student achievement. The primary responsibility is to implement, deliver, and promote high academic expectations to all students. This is a one-year position funded through Title I, ending on or before June 30, 2027. The applicant accepting this position must apply for an available position and be recommended for a new role to continue employment with the DeKalb County School District for the 2026-2027 school year.

Responsibilities

• Implement and deliver high academic expectations to all students.
• Promote best practices in English Language Arts (ELA) instruction.
• Work collaboratively with team members to support student achievement.

Requirements

• Valid Professional Standards Commission-approved certificate at level 4 or higher in the specified content area (ELA).
