About the Role
This position supports students with autism in a middle school setting as part of the district’s specialized program.
Responsibilities
- Assist classroom teachers in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with autism.
- Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students in academic, behavioral, and social skills development.
- Help students with daily living skills, communication, and sensory regulation as needed.
- Maintain a safe, structured, and positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with special education staff, therapists, and families to support student progress.
- Assist with data collection and documentation related to student performance and behavior.
