Specialized Pre K Teacher for Roseland Child Development Center

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and maintain strong organizational skills
• Multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively
• Engage in physical activity with children and assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact
• Ensure the safety of children through visual and auditory awareness
• Communicate with children and their parents in English

Requirements

• Possess an active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC and state Pre-K candidacy requirements
• Meet state-specific Pre-K guidelines for the role
• Physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents
• Able to see and hear well enough to keep children safe

Pay

Range of pay: $18.85 - $50.95 hourly. In the state of Minnesota, an additional $3.00 per hour premium is provided on all classroom hours worked, funded through the Minnesota Great Start Grant Compensation Support Program.
