Specialized Consultant

General Function

The specialized advisor supports the management team by demonstrating superior sales behaviors and floor leadership, fostering a positive work environment, and executing processes and operational goals in line with company standards and policies. The role assists floor staff in motivating the team to exceed sales targets. This part‑time key‑holder position aims to engage and inspire customers by delivering an uncompromised, unparalleled customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Acts as an ambassador, demonstrating brand knowledge and staying up‑to‑date with products.
• Establishes strong connections and relationships with customers to maintain positive interactions.
• Upholds and executes all company customer service initiatives.
• Assists with processing, restocking merchandise, and monitoring in‑store inventory.
• Supports floor movement, merchandising, display maintenance, and cleanliness of the floor and warehouse.
• Organizes the warehouse, ensuring labeling, logical placement, organization, and cleanliness are maintained.
• Leads store opening and closing procedures when management is not present.
• Performs any other tasks assigned by a member of the management team.

Requirements

• At least one year of retail experience in a specialized environment.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong sales experience with a proven ability to achieve top individual results.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and interact with others.
• Good time‑management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with computers and experience using cash registers.
• Ability to stand for most of the time or move around on the sales floor or warehouse.
• Bilingual capability.
• Ability to move merchandise and lift up to 40 lb.

Pay

Pay Range: $16.00 – $21.36 per hour. Compensation is determined by geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum‑wage requirements. A competitive bonus and/or commission plan may also be offered.
