About the role
The Specialized Advisor supports the management team by demonstrating superior sales behaviors and leadership on the floor, fostering a positive work environment, and executing operational goals in line with company standards. As a part-time key holder, you will assist floor staff in motivating the team to exceed sales targets while delivering an unparalleled customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Act as a brand ambassador, demonstrating product knowledge and staying updated on offerings.
- Build strong customer relationships to ensure positive interactions.
- Uphold and execute all company customer service initiatives.
- Assist with processing, restocking merchandise, and monitoring in-store inventory.
- Maintain floor movement, merchandising, display standards, and overall store cleanliness.
- Organize the warehouse, ensuring proper labeling, logical placement, and cleanliness.
- Lead store opening and closing procedures when management is not present.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the management team.
Requirements
- At least one year of retail experience in a specialized environment.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong sales experience with a proven ability to achieve top individual sales performance.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in computer use and experience with cash registers.
- Ability to stand for extended periods or move around the sales floor and warehouse.
- Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 40 lbs.
- Bilingual skills (preferred).
Pay
Pay range: $16.12 – $23.49 per hour. Employee pay is determined by factors including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements. A competitive bonus and/or commission plan may also be offered.
