About the role

The Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in Iron Mountain's mission to securely handle and store client records and information. This position involves physically demanding tasks such as loading, unloading, moving, weighing, and sorting materials. Compliance with physical security guidelines and maintaining a clean, safe work environment are also key responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Execute secure material handling, including loading, unloading, moving, weighing, and sorting a variety of items to ensure efficient workflow.
• Safeguard records by moving boxes, weighing up to 50 pounds, on and off shelves and carts, often requiring the safe use of a ladder.
• Use wheeled carts and pallet jacks, and collaborate with team members to wrap pallets for safe transport.
• Ensure compliance with physical security guidelines, maintaining the security of customer information and a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience and comfort with a physical job involving repetitive motions, frequent climbing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, pushing, reaching, and pulling.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and sustain physical activity throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail to accurately follow procedures and maintain the security of confidential records.
• Effective reading, writing, and communication skills in English.
