Specialist, Vessel Closeout SYM
Role Summary
This position is responsible for the successful execution of the Vessel Closeout (VCO) process. The specialist will efficiently reconcile port pairs with terminals to ensure that intended containers are loaded onto vessels with all necessary export requirements. Additionally, the role provides expertise on non-standard vessel closeout issues to both internal and external parties, researches and responds to routine and non-routine customer inquiries, and recommends solutions for specialized challenges.
Responsibilities
- Track containers within rail websites to facilitate advancing, rolling, and reducing shipments
- Submit reports to US Customs
- Track and trace shipper documentation required for vessel loading
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations and Commercial teams
- Report directly to the Supervisor of Vessel Close Out, SYM

Required Minimum Years Experience
Minimum of 2 years of function-related experience (preferred)
Required Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Pay
Salary commensurate with experience means your pay will be directly proportional to your background, skills, and qualifications.
