Your Key Responsibilities
- Support transport coordination, including route planning, carrier selection, and shipment tracking, and oversee the customs clearance process execution, ensuring compliance with trade regulations.
- Manage day-to-day transportation activities, including expedite requests and spot-quote coordination
- Handle transport efficiently, timely, and legally compliantly, collaborating with service provider and forwarder to meet requirements.
- Develop and document SOPs with carriers, including onboarding procedures and escalation workflows
- Analyze transportation costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Establishment, implementation and monitoring of tranportation KPI's
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps and recommending enhancements
- Collaborate with external partners, such as freight forwarders and customs brokers, to facilitate smooth logistics operations.
- Monitor the performance of transport providers to ensure service quality.
- Collaborate with invoice auditors and carriers to resolve audit exceptions and approve compliant invoices
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, and/or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in transportation, freight, or logistics coordination
- Knowledge of transportation KPI development and performance monitoring
- Proficiency in Transportation Management Systems and SAP systems preferred
- Strong MS Excel skills for cost analysis and reporting
- Detail-oriented, strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify cost opportunities and process gaps
- Proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset, able to work independently while also being a strong team collaborator
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
