Position Summary

The Marketing Project Management & Automation Specialist is responsible for driving end-to-end project management excellence across the marketing function while actively identifying, testing, and scaling advanced technology solutions that improve efficiency, automation, and productivity.

Principle duties and responsibilities

  • Marketing Project Management

    • Lead project management for marketing initiatives, campaigns, and operational programs, ensuring clear scope, timelines, milestones, and accountability across cross-functional teams.
    • Manage integrated workflows across strategy, creative development, production, approvals, launch, and post-launch analysis.
    • Maintain and continuously improve project plans, timelines, status reporting, and risk mitigation practices.
    • Serve as a central point of coordination to ensure teams remain on track, dependencies are managed, and priorities are aligned.
    • Proactively identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements to increase speed, quality, and predictability of delivery.
  • Process Optimization & Automation

    • Assess existing marketing workflows to identify opportunities for simplification, standardization, and automation.
    • Design and implement improved processes, templates, and operating models that reduce manual effort and increase consistency.
    • Measure and track improvements in cycle time, throughput, and overall marketing productivity.
  • Advanced Technology & Tool Exploration

    • Research, evaluate, and pilot emerging marketing, project management, workflow, and AI-enabled tools that can automate repeatable tasks and enhance team productivity.
    • Partner with marketing, IT, and governance teams to scope, test, and recommend tools that align with enterprise standards and business needs.
    • Support adoption of approved tools through documentation, training, and change management.
    • Stay current on evolving trends in marketing technology, automation, and AI as they relate to creative development, campaign execution, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaboration & Communication

    • Act as a trusted partner to marketing leaders and teams, translating priorities into clear plans and execution roadmaps.
    • Facilitate regular project reviews, status updates, and retrospectives to drive transparency and continuous improvement.
    • Support alignment across internal and external partners to ensure shared understanding of expectations and timelines.

Basic Qualification

  • Proven experience in project and process management within a marketing, creative, or related business environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects with competing priorities.
  • Strong understanding of full-funnel marketing campaign development processes and milestones.
  • Experience assessing workflows and identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualification

  • Experience working with marketing technology, workflow tools, or AI-enabled solutions.
  • Familiarity with agile or hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Experience supporting integrated marketing or brand campaigns in a complex organization.
  • Ability to translate technical or tool-related concepts into practical, user-friendly solutions for marketers.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience

  • 3-5+ years of experience in project management, marketing operations, or a similar role.
