Specialist, Senior Regional PSM

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal safety regulations, including PHMSA guidelines and OSHA Process Safety Management standard.
• Conduct risk assessments and participate in pre-startup safety reviews to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Affiliate with operations and engineering on the management of change (MOC) process, guaranteeing all changes to operations are evaluated for safety implications and risks.
• Offer support for brand new plant and pipeline development, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure prompt and efficient execution.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and other internal stakeholders concerning process and pipeline safety requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, safety management, or a related field is preferred.
• 5 or more years of experience working in the oil and gas industry; midstream experience preferred.
• Must have excellent technical writing skills and be proficient in MS Office applications.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and through electronic systems.
• Able to travel up to 30% of the time.
