Responsibilities
- Serves as the subject matter expert in the optimization of Epic process flow as it relates to the revenue cycle.
- Responsible for processes and workflows within Epic with an emphasis on cost saving analysis to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness of resources.
- Reports findings to the revenue cycle leadership, presents solutions to any inefficiencies in workflows, and implements these solutions throughout the Baptist system.
- Serves as the liaison on requests from the Revenue Cycle leadership to the BOC team to ensure proper workflow from each perspective as well as prioritizing and monitoring these projects.
- Provides input into training curriculum for staff as it relates to EPIC workflow.
- Able to travel to all Baptist facilities within the system.
- Completes all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum Required: Ten (10) years of experience in software design in a healthcare setting, or a combination of experience and education to equal ten (10) years.
- Preferred/Desired: Project Management Experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum Required: Associates Degree in a related field of study.
- Preferred/Desired: EPIC Certification.
