Hours: 18 hours (0.5wte) - 2.5 days over Mon - Fri
About the role
The post holder will be based in one of Fife’s community hospitals and will work across the Glenrothes and North East Fife localities.
Responsibilities
- Organise and lead pulmonary rehabilitation classes
- Line manage a band 4 staff member
- Work with patients to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions, promote self-management, and enable independence in their homes
- Travel throughout the area as required
- Work public holidays as per NHS Scotland policy
Requirements
- NHS pulmonary rehabilitation and respiratory experience
- Experience working with this patient group
- Associated assessment and treatment knowledge and skills
- A degree in Physiotherapy
- Registered with the HCPC
- CPD to support ongoing development
- Ability to travel throughout the area
- Public Holiday working capability
Qualifications
- Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Knowledge of pulmonary rehabilitation and respiratory care

Pay
The salary is pro rata for part-time hours.
