About the role
The Missile Solutions Segment of L3Harris is currently seeking a Program Manager to join our Orange, VA office. This position will support the D5 LE FBM program.
Responsibilities
- Assists in leading all phases of programs: planning, execution, strategy, and management.
- Drives program action to achieve business and financial objectives for orders, revenue, profit, and cash flow for an existing program.
- Responsible for cost, schedule, and technical performance for designated project areas working with a program lead or manager to achieve results.
- Manages and directs assigned program, which includes defining and understanding program scope, managing overall schedules and budget in accordance with applicable contractual and L3Harris policies.
- Affirms through the assigned program team that contract performance responsibility is properly delegated to performing organizations and outside suppliers.
- Develops and implements plans for follow-on production programs including proposal development, submittal, negotiation, and definitization.
- Responsible for effectively briefing internal and external customers during Program Management Reviews.
- Responsible for effectively communicating with the Integrated Program Team which functions include engineering, quality assurance, manufacturing, test, production support, procurement, contracts and finance.
- Up to 25% business travel to other L3Harris and customer sites.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Preferred: Project Management Institute (PMI) certification. Experience with Earned Value Management (EVMS) is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership.
- Extensive knowledge of financial management and business development practices.
- Experience with DoD contract execution.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products (Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Pay
The salary range for this role in Virginia is $80,500-$149,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.

Schedule
Employees work 9 out of every 14 days- totaling 80 hours worked- and have every other Friday off.
