Specialist, PMO
About the role
In this position, the PMO Specialist supports Ford Land PMO through governance coordination, portfolio reporting, and process standardization activities. This role combines administrative and coordination support with exposure to technical project planning, including assisting with facility assessments, helping prepare draft conceptual scopes of work, and supporting early project definition activities — under the guidance of senior staff — to help inform planning, estimating, and capital investment decisions.
Responsibilities
- Support portfolio governance activities, leadership reviews, and decision-making processes.
- Assist in coordinating site assessments and facility walkdowns with key stakeholders to identify infrastructure needs, project opportunities, and existing conditions.
- Help prepare draft project scopes of work and preliminary cost estimates, and compile supporting documentation for business justifications and project charters under the guidance of senior staff.
- Support capital planning, forecasting, and investment prioritization activities.
- Assist with development and standardization of PMO processes, methodologies, and reporting practices.
- Help identify and implement opportunities for reporting automation, process improvement, and operational efficiency.
- Assist in preparing executive presentations, portfolio analyses, and ad hoc reporting to support leadership objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in facility engineering, construction management, capital project planning, AEC project management, and/or building systems.
- Exposure to stakeholder engagement, facility assessments, and/or conceptual project planning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications
- Three to five years of industry experience.
- Real estate or construction firm experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management.

Pay
This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $86,600-$144,900. Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
Schedule
This position is hybrid with a requirement to be onsite four or more days per week.
