What You Will Do
- Partner with the manager to implement comprehensive Marketplace vendor strategies aligned with overall business objectives and online sales targets.
- Act as primary point of contact on digital questions and feedback from brand partners, including site merchandising, digital, and marketing.
- Track, analyze, and report on key brand performance metrics (e.g., sales, conversion rates, average order value, traffic).
- Use findings to optimize Marketplace assortment strategy (e.g., best and worst sellers, pricing architecture).
- Fields ad hoc requests, present findings and proactively deliver recommendations that inform strategy.
- Synthesizes large data sets into digestible takeaways that drive action.
- Manage markdown and promotional cadence in alignment with total Saks Global strategy, including confirming participation with brand partners, submitting and overseeing execution of price changes, and monitoring competitor activities to adjust strategies as needed.
- Work closely with the Marketplace Operations team to ensure product information accuracy and consistency across online touchpoints (e.g., collection launches, markdowns).
- Partner with Saks.com Category Growth teams to ensure seamless integration of Marketplace brands’ within total site strategies and merchandising.
Required Qualifications (Minimum Requirements)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in category management or retail buying, preferably within a luxury ecommerce environment.
- Experience in merchandising or digital marketing can also be valuable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-commerce, or a related field.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Preferred Qualifications (nice To Haves)
- Experience communicating and working with external vendors is a plus.

Pay
The listed range reflects multiple markets, including higher-cost areas. Actual starting pay will be determined based on work location, experience, and other job-related factors.
