About the role

As a Specialist Manager, Procurement and Category Management on the Enterprise Contract Management & Operations team, you will support contract administration activities for strategic enterprise contract vehicles across Deloitte's Government and Public Services practice. You will coordinate with Contracts professionals, Project Engagement Leadership, Enabling Solutions points of contact, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliant contract management and operational execution.

Responsibilities

  • Advise account teams on Federal contract administration and subcontract matters, serving as a business advisor on all aspects of contract administration.
  • Manage complex and high-value subcontract matters impacting Firm revenue and retention, using independent judgment to resolve significant issues.
  • Provide advisory subcontracts support to account leadership and shape win strategies on Federal engagements.
  • Perform strategic subcontract negotiations and complete various subcontract projects.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with strategic subcontract companies.
  • Review and analyze subcontracts to inform team strategy and ensure understanding.
  • Compile and analyze subcontract data, entering and maintaining information in internal databases.
  • Proactively identify and analyze subcontracting issues, solving standard and routine activities.
  • Keep teams informed on all subcontract standards, plans, and policies.
  • Develop and maintain subcontract files according to government regulations and Deloitte's procurement policies.
  • Ensure timely filing and reporting of subcontract data into various systems and monitor updates.
  • Support contract administration activities for enterprise contract vehicles, coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Manage contract documentation, reporting, and workflow activities required to administer contracts.
  • Monitor contract requirements, deliverables, and operational activities to ensure alignment with internal policies and contractual obligations.
  • Identify contract administration issues, escalate risks, and support resolution activities across stakeholders.
  • Review software and reseller terms and conditions to identify and mitigate negotiation risks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 8+ years of experience in procurement, category management, contract administration, or contract operations supporting IT (Hardware/Software/Cloud Hosting) goods/product purchases.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting contract compliance, contract documentation, or operational execution activities.
  • Experience supporting enterprise contract vehicles, strategic sourcing activities, or contract administration processes.
  • Experience coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to support contract management activities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word.
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Experience supporting Government and Public Services contracts or programs (preferred).
  • Experience with enterprise contract management processes in a professional services environment (preferred).
  • Experience tracking contract requirements, documentation, and deliverables across multiple stakeholders (preferred).
  • Experience leading workstreams or project-based operational activities (preferred).
  • Experience with procurement operations, supplier management, or category management support (preferred).
  • Experience identifying and escalating contract administration risks or issues (preferred).

About the team

The Enterprise Contract Management & Operations team is responsible for contract administration activities supporting strategic enterprise contract vehicles across Deloitte's Government and Public Services practice. This role will work directly with Contracts professionals, Project Engagement Leadership, Enabling Solutions points of contact, and other internal stakeholders to coordinate information and decisions required for compliant contract management and operational execution.

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $93,000 to $155,000. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, where an award, if any, depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.
