About the role

This role supports Cencora's distribution services in the US operating through our AmerisourceBergen business. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered. Affiliated company: AmerisourceBergen Drug Corporation.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday–Friday 5:30 AM–finish with Tuesday off.

Pay

Hourly rate: $21.63. Annual salary range: $43,400–$67,980 (national average; state-specific ranges in Colorado, California, Washington, New York, Hawaii, Vermont, Minnesota, Massachusetts, and Illinois may be up to 10% lower than the minimum and 12% higher than the maximum).

Responsibilities

• Arrange sections by velocity (hot, fast, and slow zones) to assist order fillers.
• Arrange shelf space on static and flow racks using a minimum-to-maximum philosophy to best utilize available area.
• Monitor, stage, and break down all bulk warehouse deals.
• Utilize modern material handling equipment as needed.
• Create and maintain tracking reports.
• Assist with physical inventory.
• Develop and implement new processes and procedures when necessary.
• Comply with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules, and DEA regulations.
• Work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
• 2+ years of experience in warehouse support, distribution operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, or a related field required.
• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or equivalent certification preferred.

• Reading and interpreting product descriptions, names, and shelf labels.
• Basic mathematics.

• Knowledge of distribution center workflow.
• Ability to work with minimal guidance.
• Applying judgment when following detailed instructions.
• Basic computer operations.
• Effective communication.
• Solving routine operational problems.
• Operating material handling equipment, including reach trucks, picker machines, pallet jacks, and forklifts.

• Sedentary physical activity requiring reaching, sifting, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions, talking, and hearing.

• Frequently required to stand, walk, or otherwise be mobile.
