Specialist Lead, Government Client Contracts Management (Civil)
About the role
The Specialist, Government Client Contracts Management supports the administration of all facets of the contracts life-cycle, focusing on federal contracts. This role exercises increased independence and judgment in reviewing and analyzing contract actions, maintaining awareness of contract requirements and status, and advising account teams on contract matters. The position involves compiling and analyzing contract-related data, proactively identifying and resolving contracting issues, and communicating effectively with peers, leadership, and clients.
Responsibilities
- Proactively supports the development, review, and negotiation of contracts, modifications, prime contractor NDAs, teaming agreements, and subcontracts consistent with company policies.
- Ensures contract data is accurately entered into appropriate forms and databases, and verifies the completeness of electronic documents and contract systems data.
- Reviews federal solicitations, requests for information, and proposals; identifies business risks; documents findings; and provides recommendations.
- Understands key terms and conditions of assigned contracts that affect performance or compliance and conveys information to stakeholders.
- Prepares standard contract language for inclusion in proposals.
- Receives and interprets federal customer post-submission clarifications and/or deficiencies; coordinates proposal updates; and remits revised proposal offers to the Contracting Officer.
- Develops relationships with external client stakeholders and attends industry and government events.
- Collaborates across GPS teams to provide solutions and insights related to the contracts portfolio.
- Reviews for compliance with federal contract regulations and reporting requirements.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional working experience.
- 2+ years of experience in multiple contract types (e.g., FFP, LH, T&M, CPFF) and solicitation types (e.g., FAR Parts 8, 15, and 16).
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Ability to travel 10-15%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Federal clients aligned with the team of assignment (Civilian agencies specifically DOE, EPA, DOT, DOC, etc.).
- Emerging ability to excel in an upper-level management environment.
- NCMA: CFCM or CCCM certification.

Pay
The wage range for this role is $84,300 - $155,400. This range takes into account factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and business needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range, and compensation decisions depend on individual and organizational performance. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to program rules.
