About the role

The Specialist, Information Assurance Compliance II (SIAC2) is responsible for ensuring compliance with federal information security policies and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain compliance documentation and reports
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
• Train and educate staff on information security policies and procedures
• Monitor and report on compliance status
• Respond to security incidents and ensure timely remediation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in information security compliance
• Knowledge of NIST Cybersecurity Framework and relevant compliance regulations
• Experience with ITIL service management principles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• CISSP certification preferred
• Experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and incident response platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
