About the role
Reports to: Cultivation Manager
Responsibilities
- Perform plant maintenance using standard operating procedures within the vegetation and flowering rooms
- Monitor plant health
- Follow all applicable policies, procedures, and guidelines, including the safe and proper operation of machinery, instrumentation, and equipment
- Work as a team to meet production schedules
- Maintain good communication with co-workers and management
- Practice good housekeeping habits, including mopping floors, sanitizing work spaces, and sweeping to ensure a clean and organized assigned work area at the end of each shift
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Maintain accurate records of daily production and communicate those records to management
- Understand and apply the use of BioTrack, the seed-to-sale tracking program
- Possess a willingness to work hard and learn every day
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Greenhouse experience a plus, but not required
- Willingness to work longer hours as needed, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all seasonal temperatures and weather conditions
- Ability to lift over 50 lbs. and perform tasks involving sitting, standing, stretching, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
- Ability to work as a team player
- At least 21 years of age
- Ability to pass a Federal background check
- Must be willing and able to wear all required PPE
