The Specialist, Fund/Client Accounting Representative role is located in Pittsburgh, PA. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of fund accounting activities, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders, conducting thorough analyses of financial data, maintaining up-to-date records, and assisting in the development and implementation of accounting best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of fund accounting activities by applying deep knowledge in accounting principles and practices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and enhance process efficiencies, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and communication.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of financial data, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, thereby supporting the integrity of financial reporting.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and documentation to support audits and regulatory reviews, showcasing meticulous attention to detail.
  • Aid in the development and implementation of accounting best practices and process improvements to elevate service quality.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure accurate financial data processing.
  • Excellent communication abilities to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and team members.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and tools, enabling efficient and precise financial operations.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA or CFA are advantageous but not required.
