Responsibilities

• Holistic advisement and support to student leaders within the Student Union Activities Board (SUAB) at Oklahoma State University
• Guide student members through the planning, execution, and evaluation of campus events while fostering their personal and professional development
• Support student development by providing guidance through weekly meetings, assisting with leadership training, and aligning student activities with career readiness initiatives
• Lead marketing strategies and social media efforts
• Assist with data collection and assessment practices
• Contribute to strategic planning and evaluation
• Maintain inventory records
• Ensure compliance with university purchasing guidelines
• Support collaborative efforts across campus units

Required Qualifications

• High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
• Four years of related work experience. Post-secondary education may be substituted for years of experience

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge

• Demonstrated, translatable coursework, or experiential learning
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and coordinate numerous detailed programs that may occur within a short time frame of one another
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to collaborate successfully with multiple departments and stakeholders
• Ability to assist in program set up and take down, including but not limited to moving tables, chairs and other equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's
• One year of experience in student development, advising, coaching or related area

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm with occasional evenings and weekends.

Pay

$17.00 - $21.00 per hour
