Specialist, Electrician

Electrician – JLL What this job involves: We are seeking a skilled Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment across our facilities. In this role, you will ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes while maintaining the highest safety standards. You will play a critical role in keeping our commercial buildings operational and safe, contributing directly to JLL's commitment to delivering exceptional facility management services. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse electrical systems in dynamic commercial environments while advancing your technical expertise. What your day-to-day will look like: Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures, and control systems in commercial buildingsPerform preventive maintenance on electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, emergency generators, and fire alarm systemsDiagnose and resolve electrical malfunctions using appropriate testing equipment and respond promptly to emergency electrical issues and power outagesInstall and terminate low-voltage systems including data, telecommunications, and security systemsMaintain accurate records of electrical work performed and read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagramsCoordinate with contractors, vendors, and other trades as needed, and participate in building automation system (BAS) integration projectsEnsure all electrical work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local jurisdiction requirements while following OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent and completion of accredited electrical apprenticeship program or equivalent experienceMinimum 1-3 years of commercial electrical experienceProficient in electrical system troubleshooting and repair with knowledge of NEC codes and electrical safety standardsAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings and specificationsExperience with electrical testing equipment (multimeters, megohmmeters, etc.)Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly, work at heights using ladders and lifts, and work in confined spacesAvailable for on-call rotation and emergency response as needed, with flexibility for weekend or after-hours work for planned maintenance activities Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in occupied commercial buildings or facilities maintenance/property management environmentsOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certificationArc Flash training certificationLow voltage/fire alarm system certificationsFamiliarity with building automation and energy management systems Location: Marana, AZ At JLL, we are collectively shaping a brighter way — for our clients, ourselves and our fellow employees.
