- Lead the strategic procurement of automotive software, electronic components and LV/HV wire harness assemblies
- Conduct detailed cost analyses, implement cost-reduction programs, and support financial optimization initiatives
- Manage contract negotiations and pricing discussions with suppliers, including those operating in monopoly markets
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments including Engineering, Software Development, Quality, and Program Management
- Support projects and advancements related to autonomous driving, vehicle connectivity, and emerging automotive technologies
- Coordinate supplier performance management, evaluate technological capabilities, and ensure adherence to procurement policies and quality standards
- Participate in periodic travel for internal alignment, supplier meetings, and company-related events (domestic and international)
Location & Travel Expectations
This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Novi, Michigan. This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events.

Professional Experience
- 4+ years of professional experience in the automotive or manufacturing sector
- Experience in procurement, strategic sourcing or project management for electronic components or software preferred
- Expertise in software procurement and/or electronic component sourcing
- Demonstrated capability in high-stakes negotiation, particularly with monopoly suppliers
Technical & Communication Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in English; additional languages are considered an advantage
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook and MS Teams
- Solid understanding of the Automotive industry, including its processes, standards, and regulatory considerations
- Familiarity with autonomous driving technologies and connected vehicle systems

- This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program.
- The initial Base Salary Range is $90,000.00 - $115,000.00
