About the role

You will play a key role in our team which delivers a range of weight management programmes and out-patient services for people with type 1 and 2 diabetes.

The post focuses on:

• Delivering evidence-based interventions for weight management and diabetes.
• Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide personalised care and behaviour change support.
• Contributing to education, training and service development as we shape the future of dietetic care in Fife.

This is a community-based role with opportunities to work across clinics and virtual platforms, supporting a diverse caseload and engaging in service innovation.

About Us

Our Nutrition & Dietetics Service is a friendly Fife-wide service with clinical teams in:

• Hospital Services
• Community Services
• Diabetes & Weight Management
• Infant, Children & Young People

We support undergraduate and graduate student placements (A, B & C), offer rotational opportunities for new graduates, and host fortnightly education and CPD sessions via Teams. Our service is committed to professional development, innovation, and delivering high-quality, Dietitian-led models of care.

What We’re Looking For

• HCPC-registered Dietitian with enthusiasm and experience in weight management and/or diabetes care.
• Strong communication and behavior change skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to education, service improvement and patient-centered care.
• Ability to travel across Fife. NHS pool cars are available.
