About the role
You will play a key role in our team which delivers a range of weight management programmes and out-patient services for people with type 1 and 2 diabetes.
The post focuses on:
- Delivering evidence-based interventions for weight management and diabetes.
- Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide personalised care and behaviour change support.
- Contributing to education, training and service development as we shape the future of dietetic care in Fife.
This is a community-based role with opportunities to work across clinics and virtual platforms, supporting a diverse caseload and engaging in service innovation.
About Us
Our Nutrition & Dietetics Service is a friendly Fife-wide service with clinical teams in:
- Hospital Services
- Community Services
- Diabetes & Weight Management
- Infant, Children & Young People
We support undergraduate and graduate student placements (A, B & C), offer rotational opportunities for new graduates, and host fortnightly education and CPD sessions via Teams. Our service is committed to professional development, innovation, and delivering high-quality, Dietitian-led models of care.
What We’re Looking For
- HCPC-registered Dietitian with enthusiasm and experience in weight management and/or diabetes care.
- Strong communication and behavior change skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to education, service improvement and patient-centered care.
- Ability to travel across Fife. NHS pool cars are available.
