Kafka Administrator is needed for a role based in Raritan NJ, requiring 6+ years of IT experience. Expertise in Kafka, related technologies, and event processing pipelines is essential. Proficiency in Java, ZooKeeper, Hadoop, Spark, and Scala is required, along with hands-on experience in Kafka producers/consumers, Spark streaming, and event-driven frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Kafka clusters in production environments.
• Troubleshoot Kafka-related issues within SLAs.
• Design and implement data pipelines in Kafka for data streaming.

Requirements

• 6+ years of IT experience.
• Expertise in Kafka, ZooKeeper, Hadoop, Spark, and Scala.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka producers/consumers, Spark streaming, and event-driven frameworks.
• Experience in installing and managing Kafka clusters.
• Ability to troubleshoot Kafka issues in production environments.
• Knowledge of building data pipelines in Kafka for data streaming.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven track record in managing Kafka clusters and related technologies.
• Experience with Kafka, ZooKeeper, Hadoop, Spark, and Scala.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
