Specialist, Corporate Actions II
About the role
The Specialist, Corporate Actions II role is located in Pittsburgh, PA. This role is responsible for mandatory and voluntary corporate actions custody functions for all organizational accounts. Responsibilities include processing basic mandatory and voluntary corporate action events, liability notices, dividend interest payments, and class action suits. Additionally, the role involves reconciling, monitoring, and posting entitlements to client accounts, performing daily and monthly outlier reviews, and working on multiple systems to process corporate action processing tasks.
Responsibilities
- Process basic mandatory and voluntary corporate action events
- Monitor and post entitlements to client accounts
- Perform daily and monthly outlier reviews and research
- Reconcile cash, security, and suspense transactions
- Respond to inquiries from internal business groups, depositories, agents, brokers, clients, Investment Managers, sub custodians, and/or custodians
- Work on multiple systems to create and scrub announcements, send client instructions to third parties, and post online cash and security transactions
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Experience in financial services or corporate actions is preferred. Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business are also required.

No direct reports. May have people management responsibilities in some geographies. Contributes to the achievement of team goals and objectives.
