Specialist, Client Processing Representative
About the role
This role is located in Jersey City, NJ. In this role, you’ll make an impact by providing client service and support, updating client accounts, supporting clients with operational and technical issues, and participating in initiatives to improve the client experience.
Responsibilities
- Provides client service and support to internal and external clients daily, including phone interaction, problem resolution, transaction processing, reconciliations, and accounting services.
- Regularly updates client accounts in a timely manner.
- Sets up and maintains client accounts.
- Supports clients in addressing moderately complex operational and technical issues and ensures requests are executed.
- Demonstrates the ability & willingness to learn about our clients and our products.
- Makes recommendations based on analysis of information provided to clients.
- Monitors client inquiries, resolves non-routine issues, and escalates complex issues as needed.
- Participates in internal activities and initiatives designed to improve the client experience.
- Utilizes problem-solving skills and best judgement to analyze information, and to provide our clients with information related to BNY products.
Requirements
- A high school/secondary school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required; a bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5-7 years of total work experience preferred.
- Must be comfortable speaking directly with our clients.
- Experience in an operational area and/or client services preferred.
Qualifications
- Rotating Schedule starting on 11am – 8pm for the first month, then including 7am - 4pm and 9am - 6pm.

Pay
The base salary for this position is expected to be between $52,000 and $85,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
Schedule
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
