About the role

The Specialist, Account Management I role is located in Berwyn, PA. This role is responsible for performing quality reviews of new accounts, account maintenance transactions, and cash flows to ensure accuracy prior to trading. They also validate the accuracy of required documentation and manage multiple workflow queues to ensure accounts are reviewed with 100% accuracy, traded within client/sponsor guidelines, and meet internal and external SLAs. Additionally, they generate and review control reports, escalate elevated risk or high-impact transactions, and serve as a subject matter expert for Quality Control workflows and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality reviews of new accounts, account maintenance transactions, and cash flows to ensure accuracy prior to trading
  • Validate the accuracy of required documentation and identify missteps in processing, documentation, or workflow handling
  • Manage multiple workflow queues to ensure accounts are reviewed with 100% accuracy, traded within client/sponsor guidelines, and meet internal and external SLAs
  • Generate and review control reports, escalate elevated risk or high-impact transactions, and act as a subject matter expert for Quality Control workflows and procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 0 – 5 years of total work experience preferred
  • Experience in a control function, ideally at an asset manager or related financial services firm
  • An analytical skills with an inquisitive mindset, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills; experience working under tight timelines, producing accurate results, and mitigating risks

Qualifications

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must have 0 – 5 years of total work experience
  • Must have experience in a control function, preferably at an asset manager or related financial services firm
  • Must possess analytical skills with an inquisitive mindset and strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects
  • Must have excellent written communication and presentation skills; experience working under tight timelines, producing accurate results, and mitigating risks
