The SPECIALIST, BUSINESS ANALYTICS is responsible for ensuring the organization addresses the correct business problems by deeply understanding stakeholder needs, business processes, and desired outcomes. This role bridges communication between business users, subject matter experts, product owners, developers, data engineers, and quality assurance teams to align data initiatives with business goals and improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements elicitation with stakeholders
• Analyze business processes and identify improvement opportunities
• Create and maintain business rules and requirements documentation
• Develop business use cases and process models
• Collaborate with technical teams to confirm requirement feasibility
• Manage stakeholder communications and set expectations
• Support testing, validation, and user acceptance activities
• Act as the voice of the business throughout the delivery lifecycle

Requirements

• Strong skills in requirements elicitation and analysis
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
• Experience translating business processes into Agile requirements
• Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to influence without formal authority
• Proven record of consensus building and delivering business value
• Business acumen
• Experience with data, reporting, BI, or data warehouse initiatives
• Proficiency in Jira and Confluence
• BA or BS degree in Business, Communications, Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant experience
• Experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or related role
• Knowledge of databases and reporting solutions
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively

Qualifications

• Preferred certifications: IIBA, PMI, or Scrum Alliance
• Preferred experience in Agile/Scrum, business process mapping, data visualization tools, ETL, and data warehousing concepts

Pay

The full-time salary range for this role is $85,000 – $100,000. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program.
