Specialist, Banking Operations

About the role

The Charitable Operations team is part of the Banking Operations organization at Schwab. We are responsible for handling various operational functions to support the Schwab Charitable Fund, an independent public charity that facilitates flexible charitable giving.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, prompt, and thorough service to clients holding donor-advised fund accounts.
• Maintain a high degree of accuracy and assess risk while resolving work items on first touch.
• Effectively switch gears throughout the day to assist with meeting critical cut-off times or high-volume processing.
• Communicate effectively via multiple channels with peers, leaders, and other business partners to ensure items are handled expediently.

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience in client service or operations with a background in the brokerage/financial industry preferred.
• Proficient in at least two move money processes required.
• Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to anticipate issues and design appropriate solutions.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently to bring complex cases to conclusion.
• Flexible and willing to work extended hours/overtime during the year-end peak season (mid- November to mid-January).

Qualifications
