About the role

The role involves managing and enhancing the Services provided by NEOGOV, including but not limited to Governmentjobs.com, NEOED.com, and PowerDMS.com. Responsibilities include improving user experience, analyzing data trends, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and enhance the Services provided by NEOGOV, including but not limited to Governmentjobs.com, NEOED.com, and PowerDMS.com.
  • Analyze data trends to inform product development and user experience improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including national security and law enforcement standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to implement new features and optimize existing functionalities.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and support requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in software engineering or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of web development technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks like React or Angular.
  • Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, or Ruby.
  • Knowledge of database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in version control systems such as Git.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Understanding of cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

  • Strong programming skills in multiple languages.
  • Experience with API development and integration.
  • Knowledge of front-end and back-end testing techniques.
  • Understanding of security best practices and principles.

Pay

$80,000 - $100,000 annually.

Schedule
