Specialised Carer - Home Care

About The Role

You'll provide essential, practical care for older people, supporting them to live independently in their own homes and genuinely improving their quality of life. This includes not only day-to-day care but also building meaningful relationships and offering companionship. The role requires travel to clients' homes using your own car (you'll be paid $0.99 per km plus paid travel time).

Requirements

• Being female is recognized as a genuine occupational qualification and is authorized under section 31(2h) of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977, and so we ask that only female applicants apply.
• A valid Driver’s License and access to an insured, reliable car (minimum Third Party Property Insurance).
• Experience in aged or community care, or willingness to start a career in aged care.
• A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (if not currently qualified, we can assist).

You’re a people-person who is patient and solutions-focused, and you have the flexibility to meet the changing needs of home care clients.
