About the role

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supports students' communication and educational success by providing assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic services for speech, language, voice, fluency, and social communication needs. They collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized intervention plans aligned with educational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations to assess speech, language, voice, fluency, and social communication needs.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based therapy strategies.
  • Support inclusion and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes.
  • Document services and maintain compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities.
  • Travel between sites as needed to support students across all grade levels.
  • Foster inclusive practices and data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • Valid certification (ESA and CCC-SLP or CFY).
  • Strong evaluation and therapy skills.
  • Cultural competency and effective communication abilities.
