About the role

The Special Services MS position at T.S. Hill Middle School is responsible for providing support services to students with special needs. This includes working closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing IEPs for students with special needs.
• Provide direct support to students in the classroom setting.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure the successful implementation of IEPs.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities related to special education.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in special education or a related field.
• Valid teaching license or certification in special education.
• Experience working with students with special needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
