Special Security Officer MID

Position Summary

MAG Aerospace is seeking to hire a Special Security Officer (SSO) to provide technical support to the Navy Cyber Warfare Developmental Group (NCWDG).

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Aid the SSO with security processes and procedures, including perimeter security, access control, and intrusion detection systems.
• Process paperwork and manage Program Access Requests (PAR).
• Conduct destruction of classified material and maintain accountability of all documents and data transfers.
• Complete required courses: ICD 704 Personnel Security Course, ICD 705 Physical Security Course, Special Security Officer Course (SSOC), and SCI Overview Seminar.
• Establish and operate an Insider Threat Program.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in an administrative role in a security environment.
• Knowledgeable of OPSEC, personnel industrial, physical, IT/IA, and information security principles.
• Possess a thorough understanding of Government and Industrial Security regulations and contractor clearances.
• Proficient with Federal Government security databases.
• Experience with processing visit certifications and maintaining security holding.
• Experience with PAR in the JADE system and SAP environments.

Education

• High school diploma or GED.

Other Requirements

• CURRENT ACTIVE DoD Top Secret Clearance.
• Eligible for access to be upgraded to a TS/SCI in the NEAR future upon hire.
• Pass a Counterintelligence polygraph examination in the future.
• Current investigation within 6 years.

The position is contingent upon meeting physical and medical requirements as needed by the position, including compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local jurisdictional requirements.

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $120,000 to $130,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
