A Day in The Life
- Collaborate with case teams, Department for Children and Families (DCF), law enforcement, and other stakeholders to locate absent youth.
- Review case files and conduct social media searches.
- Contact family members and friends of the youth.
- Engage with community partners and attend multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss strategies for locating and supporting vulnerable youth.
- Complete Human Trafficking assessments when necessary, ensuring trauma-informed and culturally sensitive practices.
- Document findings and maintain close communication with agencies and families.
