A Day in The Life
- Collaborate with case teams, Department for Children and Families (DCF), law enforcement, and other stakeholders
- Locate absent youth who are absent from placement
- Review case files
- Conduct social media searches
- Contact family members and friends of the youth
- Engage with community partners
- Attend multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss strategies for locating and supporting vulnerable youth
- Complete Human Trafficking assessments when necessary
- Ensure all efforts are trauma-informed and culturally sensitive
- Document findings
- Maintain close communication with agencies and families
