Special Projects Worker

About the role

Perform a variety of special cleaning operations to preserve and maintain floors and other surfaces and perform special project operations.

Responsibilities

• Strip, scrub, wax and polish floors of various compositions.
• Shampoo rugs.
• Scrub drained pools.
• Screen and apply finish to gym floors; floor line maintenance.
• Mix cleaning solutions, empty and flush tanks.
• Lubricate machines and adjust for proper operation.
• Move furniture.
• Use a variety of soaps, cleansers, chemicals, and cleaning compounds, and other appropriate materials as needed.
• Operate a variety of equipment including a buffer, rug shampooer, sander, spray tank, and other appropriate tools/equipment as needed.

Requirements

• The ability to read, write and follow instructions is required.
• At least 1 year experience in janitorial work is required.
• Knowledge of cleaning products and
