Special Procedures Technologist / Endovascular IR

Responsibilities

• Produces quality images while applying both radiation and physical safety measures.
• Collects patient data and documents procedures.
• Performs all necessary special procedure radiographic procedures.
• Affords assistance to physicians during fluoroscopic procedures.
• Participates in performance improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Certification and current registration for Radiologic Technologist (R.T.) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry-eligible, and must be obtained within 90-days of hire.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Achieves ACLS certification within six months of hire and maintains as current.
• Takes a 6-lead EKG course within 6 months of hire.
