Special Procedures Technologist - Cath Lab

About the Role

Performs Cardiac and Vascular Radiographic examinations and assists with interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab. Operates advanced imaging equipment to produce digital images, positions patients, and guides physicians during specialized studies and interventions.

Responsibilities

• Operates diagnostic and fluoroscopic equipment, assists with procedures such as catheterization, and manages technical settings.
• Provides patient education, monitors patient responses during procedures, and maintains accurate documentation.
• Supports physicians in complex interventions like vessel blockages or plaque removal.
• Conducts imaging for cardiovascular diagnostics and ensures adherence to facility standards and protocols.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort during procedures.

Requirements

• Radiologic Tech (RT) license.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience with imaging equipment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in radiologic technology.
• Preferred: ARRT certification.
• Preferred: Experience in Cath Lab or Special Procedures.
• Proficiency in positioning and operating imaging devices.
• Able to assist with interventional procedures.
