Special Procedures Tech Full Time

Responsibilities

• Performs scrub and radiographic duties for procedures including cardiac catheterizations, peripheral angiography, clot retrieval, pacer implant/explant and more.
• Operates all radiographic equipment in Cath Lab at a technical level under the direction of a cardiologist.
• Sets up procedural tray and scrub for all Cath Lab cases and performs scrub assist role during invasive procedures.
• Affixes patient to table, prepares and transports patient to and from Cath Lab.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Radiologic program accredited by JRCRTE.
• Valid Louisiana State License.
• Previous experience preferred, but not required.
