Job Description
Under the direction of the Infusion Supervisor, the Registered Nurse provides nursing care and assumes responsibility and accountability for patients receiving multiple infusions, including chemotherapy.
Education And Credentials
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Registered Nurse required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire required.
- Chemotherapy Administration Certification preferred upon hire.
- If certification is absent upon job offer, RN's applying for and awarded position of Infusion Nurse must obtain chemotherapy administration certificate within 30 days of job offer.
Experience
- 1 year of experience in administration of chemotherapy within the past 3 years preferred.
