Special Needs Nanny Needed - Part Time

About the role

We are a kind and loving family in the Stone Oak area looking for a flexible and responsible nanny to assist with day‑to‑day life and nurture our children's hobbies. We are seeking a part‑time nanny for our 15‑year‑old son and 18‑year‑old daughter, both on the autism spectrum. The ideal candidate is patient, caring, and always willing to give their time to the children. Start date: ASAP; commitment: consistent.

Responsibilities

• Light housekeeping to keep up after the children
• Transporting kids to school and extracurricular activities
• One‑on‑one time with the kids consisting of games, cooking, and bonding activities

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
• One year of paid childcare experience, including in‑home nanny experience
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to participate and pass a background check (provided and required)
• Three good childcare references (available upon request)

Skills

• Experience working with children (paid or unpaid) with at least three references speaking to childcare work
• Reliable transportation and cell phone
• Willingness and ability to travel from home to school and sports activities
• Commitment to be communicative and responsive to a staffing supervisor
